Description:
The project includes optimising prevention and treatment of infections to reduce antibiotic resistance and adverse outcomes. Elements used include:
- leadership
- accountability
- medicines expertise
- tracking reporting
- education.
The project focuses on urinary tract infections and cellulitis infections in terms of:
- preventing these infections
- identifying symptomatic infections
- guidelines and communication of treatment.
Timeframe:
It has been running 2 years and will finish June 2018
